John has been developing and presenting finance courses for the School of Finance for the past 26 years. He has run the business game both as part of finance training courses and at company conferences.
He served as a Director of the company for 16 years, and is now both owner and Director.
Before coming to the Johannesburg School of Finance he worked for Gold Fields Mining and Development for 16 years in a variety of capacities including: Human Resources, Procurement and the Management of Gold Fields Printing Pty Ltd.
He has traveled into Africa and the Middle East to present Finance Training courses, as well as within South and Southern Africa. He has presented courses in Uganda, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Eswatini, Ghana, Rwanda, Namibia, Lesotho, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Dubai and Iran.
His courses include Business Finance (including the Business Game), Financial Modelling, Budgeting and Cost Control, Financial Analysis, Calculator Skills and Personal Financial Management.
When the 2019 Covid pandemic struck, he quickly adapted to online training which he continues today. However, he presents the Business Game in the classroom environment, and on request.
